Your clipboard is one of the most sensitive things on your machine and most people never think about what reads it.

This is why you should always type with gloves on.

So if I operate a login page, do I just disable copy pasting in Chrome?

Yes, upload your clipboard to us and we’ll tell you if it’s safe. Trust me, bro.

Read further and it gets worse: Chrome is sending webpage contents and potentially screenshots to Google for server-side analysis.

Yes, this is ridiculous. When Chrome first came out I thought it was weird and resisted using it because of abuse concerns, but Google's perpetual investment has captured the market and Chrome is now the standard. Disgusting.

I feel people have forgotten how aggressively Google push chrome in the early days. Using Adware distribution tactics, where if you forgot to uncheck a box, while installing some free app, you'd end up with Chrome installed.
